Super Mario Bros is a popular game developed by Nintendo in the Mario series. The original version of Super Mario Bros is published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1985. It is the first game in the Super Mario series and features Mario (a plumber) who must rescue Princess Toadstool from the main antagonist, Bowser. The game is set in the Mushroom Kingdom and consists of eight worlds, with four levels in each world. The player controls Mario or his brother Luigi through levels filled with obstacles, enemies, and power-ups.
